350 Meteor accessories section is live on our website
New section of the website is now live, featuring accessories for the new 350 Meteor, this includes a range of genuine Royal Enfield upgrades as well as our own range of accessories. The Meteor section is constantly increasing as we develop and stock new products, so keep checking for updates.
Himalayan Catalogue
Our 19th edition of the paper catalogue went to print this summer and has been available for the last couple of months. It is entirely dedicated to the Himalayan model (a dedicated catalogue for the 650 Twins will be following soon).
650 Twin stainless steel exhaust pipes now come with a 3-year warranty
Manufactured in the UK, our free flow 91177 and 91176 front pipes are manufactured to a high precision from T304 stainless steel. The original rubber mountings are retained, and the end of the pipes are swaged down with a seamless transition to mount both the standard silencers, and aftermarket types. These really are exceptional in quality and fit, and now come with a 3-year manufacturing warranty.
Euro 4 vs Euro 5 Himalayan
Mid way through 2021, we saw the introduction of what we call “Euro 5” specification for Royal Enfield motorcycles in the UK and Europe. Whilst these same specifications are not used worldwide, they are likely to be phased into other demographic areas over time.
It’s not all modern fuel injected bikes! Hitchcocks Motorcycles is still dedicated to producing replacement components for the older machines to keep on the roads. Just recently we have acquired one of the oldest surviving Royal Enfield motorcycles known to exist. This is a bit early for our parts supply but is an incredible 1904 3 1/2 HP machine. There is only one other Enfield model known to survive from this early era, another 1904 example which stands in a museum display. Our example is in a running, on the road condition, and we hope to produce a video showing a start up in the future.
