SPLINED CLUTCH UPGRADE — This English made CNC machined alloy clutch basket offers a superior performance over the standard steel Indian item. By using 56 precision serrations as opposed to the standard 10 slots, the friction plates lift cleaner and drive more true. The combination of the clutch sprocket and 4 friction plates are nearly 50% lighter than the standard Indian items!
Other advantages include a plain centre bearing in the clutch basket rather than a ball race, easier installation by omitting the original circlip and the 2 steel dished plates in favour of fitting 4 of the same flat steel plate, this removes uncertainties concerning the correct sequence and orientation of the plates.
We can supply this as an upgrade kit for your existing clutch or supply a complete ready made clutch utilising new Indian made parts.
