These are Indian made speedos (and a rev counter) that have a similar look and style to the Smiths Chronometric speedos fitted to a number of British bikes in the 1950's and 1960's. There are various different styles as shown (available in 80mm (most bikes) and 60mm diameters) which are suitable replacements for a wide range of British bikes. They have provision for a single light and all the 80mm versions can be platform or cowl/casquette mounted (EXCEPT for Part Numbers: 92576 and 92577 which cannot be platform mounted), even though they are a little deeper than the original Smiths instruments.
The speedo cable thread is larger than the original and will require a different style of speedo cable (these are listed elsewhere in the Instruments section). If the speedo is to be fitted to an Indian Bullet the original speedo cable can be used.
