Optimate & Accumate Battery Chargers
State of the art automatic battery optimisation!
Since its launch in 1995, Optimate has received wide acclaim as an outstanding compact automatic charger, maintainer and recoverer for motorcycle batteries.
Both units are multi-stage automatic charging programme monitors which control both voltage and current while charging the battery to ensure optimum charge for the battery, without any risk of over-charging. Ideal for long-term maintenance of batteries of irregular or seasonal use.
Note 1: 6 stage Optimate 4 (98008) is suitable for 12v Batteries only.
Note 2: 4 stage Accumate (98009) is suitable for 6v and 12v Batteries.
Note 3: Use 98008E for Lithium Batteries ONLY.
If you have a second bike, the permanent leads (as the one supplied in the kit) are available as a separate item. These can be wired into the bike and left fixed so that the Optimate or Accumate can be quickly changed from one bike to another.
