The Dowty Bonded seal provides a simple method of sealing. Consisting of a metal outer ring with a bonded nitrile rubber inner ring forming a one piece washer. This product is an efficient and reliable means of sealing at high and low pressures. Bonded Dowty seals are positive and leakproof and allow a reduced bolting torque. They are also reusable when remaking joints.
NOTE:
39469 - Suitable for oil pipe banjo bolts up to August 1998 and electric start models (NOT leanburn).
DOWTY10 - Suitable for gearbox level plugs (and gearbox drain plug after 2002).
DOWTY12 - Suitable for oil pipe banjo bolts after August 1998 (kickstart models).
DOWTY135 - Suitable for most engine and gearbox drain plugs.
