There are 3 kit options, all of which consist of a set of clutch plates, both metal and friction, with 6 springs (3 heavy and 3 light).
Part 90039: 350cc before 09/98 (also Redditch 500cc 53-58) - This type uses 3 friction and 3 steel plates.
Part 90040: All 500's up to 2004 (also 350's after 09/98) - This type uses 4 friction and 4 steel plates.
Part 90041: All Indian made 500's, Redditch made 500's 1958on, Electra X & Thunderbird and Indian made 350's 98on - This type uses 5 friction and 5 steel plates.
